About This Role:
The Academic Achievement Center within the Offices of the Vice Provost of Student Success is currently seeking an Academic Services Coordinator. The Academic Coaching and Scholar Services Coordinator provides day-to-day direction and leadership for the Academic Coaching and Scholar Services Programs. This role strategically coordinates communication and outreach to students, develops and manages programs, and designs and implements program assessment and redesign. The coordinator oversees coaching outreach to undergraduate and graduate student audiences and manages required coaching arrangements and all coaching partnerships across campus. This role serves as the primary point of contact and leader for the university's program for admitting students by exception. In addition, the coordinator schedules workshops and presentations for the campus community.

The coordinator is responsible for coordinating scholar cohorts through the academic coaching model and serves as the university's point of contact on all student development needs for scholar cohorts. Partners with the Office of First-generation Students to ensure consistent support for First Scholars. This coordination includes leveraging coaching resources and referrals on academic and non-academic matters for students. Designs and implements assessment of scholar cohort programs, reporting on outcomes to the university and scholar sponsors. Serves as a member of the Student Success team to address matters of student recruitment and retention.

What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Education equivalency may be used as determined relevant by the agency.
At least three (3) years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Education, Counseling, Learning Psychology, Student Development, Academic Advising, or related field.
Teaching experience in higher education.
Supervision experience (professional staff preferred, GRA, student).
Experience with program management, development, and assessment.
Experience working with college students in an coaching/advising/counseling role, including supporting the development of academic and personal success skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding and commitment to K-State's Principles of Community and experience working with a diverse student body.

Other Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
During June orientation and enrollment, this position is on-call to answer student questions, with after-hour and weekend work required.
Some weekend travel to promote the Academic Coaching and Scholar Services Program.

$45,642.00 - $70,737.00 annually
