Accounts Payable Leader Job Summary:

At Quick Quack Car Wash, we are continually looking to find ways to develop and innovate our processes to work smarter and faster. We’re looking for a team-focused Accounts Payable Leader who, together with a second leader, can embrace the innovative abilities of our AP team and help them elevate our processes to the next level. The Accounts Payable Leader will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team and is accountable for ensuring the timely recording and payment of valid invoices across multiple entities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Co-AP Leader in duties.
  • Oversees Accounts Payable function, including vendor relations and makes decisions regarding the day to day process of invoices and payments.
  • Provides back up for all AP specialist duties.
  • Supervises the 1099 process, ensures all proper forms are received from vendors and reporting requirements to taxing authorities are completed within required filing deadlines.
  • Coordinates the timely processing and payment of a high volume of invoices.
  • Processes vendor Checks and Credit Card payments.
  • Coordinates ACH and Wire payments with Treasury Department.
  • Ensures the AP team meets month end close timelines, including accruals.
  • Ensures vendor reconciliations are completed monthly.
  • Responsible for administrative and review controls in the accounts payable/disbursement process.
  • Develops and implements new internal policies and processes to increase productivity and efficiencies.
  • Provides training, continuous feedback and performance evaluations for AP team.
  • Provides timely and consistent communication and insight to all departments.
  • Problem solves and resolves issues/concerns as they arise on a proactive basis.
  • Reviews and approves employee credit card expenses for compliance with company policy and reviews for proper expense coding, reconciles accounts and develops accruals on quarterly basis.
  • Supports and leads broader departmental projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Acumatica preferred and Concur Invoice and Expense
  • Expertise leveraging Excel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.

  • 5 to 7 + years of related experience with prior supervisory experience required.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
