Job Corps is a government-funded, no cost education and vocational training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps socioeconomically disadvantaged youth between the ages of 16-24 improve the quality of their lives through academic and career technical training. Job Corps' mission is to attract eligible young people, teach them the skills they need to become employable and independent, and place them in meaningful jobs or further education.

Position Duties:
- Demonstrates and abides by Eckerd Core Values and operating principles.
- Coordinates all center documentation related to student attendance.
- Reviews all behavioral reports for consistency and conformity to the rules; informs supervisor of irregularities.
- Assists in monitoring all class attendance reports from the Career Development Department, forwarding these reports to the Center Standards Officer for disciplinary action.
- Assists in preparation of all statistical reports necessary in compiling the Monthly Management Report, and other statistics concerning disciplinary activities.
- Ensures proper recording and documentation of all disciplinary systems and that Job Corps policies and guidelines are followed.
- Maintains a complete file of all student disciplinary records.
- Maintains reports, files, and systems to assist Center Standards Officer in rapid retrieval of data.
- Attends required staff training sessions.
- Cultivate and maintain a climate on Center that is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect in order to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn.
- Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills including personal responsibility and computer fluency.
- Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property, adhere to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Job Corps experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record preferred
