Overview: Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for full-time Corporate Accounting Manager in Englewood, CO. This position is required to be on-site four days a week, with Wednesdays being remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with current team members in preparing SOPs (standard operating procedures) for the corporate accounting and consolidations teams in order to aid easy transitions to new or existing employees
  • Support our month-end and quarterly close process ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reports in accordance with US GAAP
  • Prepare and record assigned weekly and month-end close journal entries and reconciliations
  • Quickly transition to new roles/areas of responsibility within the accounting department
  • Coordinate with the team and leads various audit efforts
  • Take on miscellaneous duties or projects as assigned by departmental leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 8+ years of related accounting experience including significant exposure to consolidation accounting – predominately at large, multi-national public companies
  • 2+ years of experience working with large, global ERP systems (Oracle or SAP); Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Planning
  • 2+ years of experience with software tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years public accounting, Big Four a plus
  • CPA – Active
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of the Company
