What you will be working on:

As a member of the support team, this role will provide clinical support through communications, research and analysis in the areas of all regulations and standards compliance and clinical care issues related to an endoscopy center environment. The Director of Clinical Support will foster and facilitate relationships with Practice Managers, Medical Directors and each Facility’s Board of Directors.

This position is hybrid working remotely, in the Silver Spring, MD office or travel in the Metro DC area. This role also has local travel up to 50%.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· First point of contact in identifying clinical/regulatory issues and opportunities within each endoscopy center and subsequently communicating, suggesting solutions and ensuring support to the centerrrrr.

· Creating and documenting a systematic on-going Clinical Services Program for the delivery of Capital Digestive Care’s endoscopy services.

· Interacting with all Nurse Managers to educate and supporting them in clinical management issues.

· Performing onsite audits, utilizing applicable State, Medicare and AAAHC guidelines to ensure adherence to both corporate and regulatory compliance issues.

· Maintaining current knowledge of OSHA, State, Medicare and Accreditation guidelines.

· Working with Practice leadership to assist in preparation for Licensure, Certification and Accreditation surveys as needed. Is present on-site when able to ascertain dates of surveys.

· Providing assistance to Practice Managers for QM data collection and analysis issues.

· Review of indicator studies, Center operations and benchmarking.

What you’ll know:

· A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

· BSN or equivalent college degree

· Registered Nurse with current BLS and ACLS

· Proven record of successful Healthcare Administration and/or Management experience in an ambulatory surgery or endoscopy center environment.

· Ability to serve as a trainer, mentor and leader for various employees during the initial start-up activities and during the ongoing operations of the centers.

· Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word and Outlook.

· Thorough understanding of regulatory guidelines, including, but not limited to: AAAHC, Joint Commissions, CLIA, OSHA, State Department of Health, CMS and DEA

· Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills

· Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism

Mandatory participation in the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Vaccination program is required for all Center Health Care Personnel (HCP).
