Job Title:   Engine Electronics Data Management Engineer
Duration:   12 Months
Location:  Chillicothe, IL

Job Description:

• As an Engine Electronics Data Management Engineer, you will develop embedded software for electronics control systems supporting client’s diesel engine programs. 
• Main area of responsibility deals with the coordination of controls data between process partners and engine software engineers to produce data files incorporated into application releases.  
• The role will follow processes and use data tools to create software files and verification of the data against customer requirements is also necessary.   
• The files will be released into the configuration management system for use by application teams.

Typical Day

• Days will be a combination of individual build work, team meeting attendance, customer troubleshooting duties, etc. 
• 50% in office, 3 day in office per week- is flexible depending on tasks.

Education Requirements:  
Required:  

• Bachelor''s Degree Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering 

Technical Skills
Required:

• At least two years industry experience in C programming and embedded control software development experience.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills. 

Desired:    

• Embedded Operating System Experience. 
• Experience with model based development tools, Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow. 
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python. 
• Experience with configuration management tools such as GIT.

Soft Skills

• Good communications skills, 
• Desire to work in a fast paced, team environment, 
• Ability to use PC tools such as MSOffice, Visio

Travel Requirement:

• 0-25%; domestic travel
