Your day.

As an EMPO Project Manager II, you need to know how to:

• Oversee medium to large scale projects throughout the project lifecycle, including monitoring and reporting on progress throughout the process
• Be responsible for organizing, staffing, budgeting, directing, planning and monitoring the project or program (multiple projects)
• Partner with the program sponsors and business partners/SME’s to develop scope, schedule, and budget
• Manage stakeholder expectations, identify and monitor risks and issues; escalate risks and critical issues as appropriate
• Be responsible for managing scope, developing and managing project plan; schedule project work to ensure deadlines are met; report project status weekly
• Develop and maintain robust communications plans and keeps all stakeholders and project sponsors informed on a routine basis
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Support, champion and effectively apply the EPMO project management standards and process

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience managing medium to large scale projects

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Current Scrum/Lean certifications
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in a healthcare setting
• Demonstrated experience in a program management office
