Established in 1997, Yamaha Music Academy of Fullerton is a music school located in Fullerton, California. Our school is part of the global network of Yamaha Music Schools, which has been providing music education to students worldwide since 1954.
Yamaha Music Academy of Fullerton offers a wide range of music programs for students of all ages and skill levels, including piano, guitar, violin, drums, and vocal lessons. While our group curriculum is based on the Yamaha Music Education System, which emphasizes a comprehensive and holistic approach to music education, other teaching methods are also implemented for private lessons.
Our faculty is composed of highly trained and experienced music instructors who are dedicated to helping students achieve their musical goals. In addition to weekly lessons, we provide ample performance opportunities, and other events to help students develop their skills and connect with other musicians.

Requirements:
Applicants must have minimum piano Bachelor degree or diploma in equivalent level and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in working with young students. All our teachers are required to acquiant themselves with the exam systems we support.
Our school operates on a 44-week per year schedule based on our published calendar.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction to students using our recommended teaching system including but not limited to Alfred and Fabers.
- Ensure that students are practicing their musical skills on a regular basis.
- Encourage students to practice independently and continue building on previous musical accomplishments.
- Support students to participate in annual exams offered by MTAC and ABRSM.
- Help students develop strong theoretical knowledge of music and performance techniques.
- Help students to build personal confidence in their musical abilities.
- Educate students on rhythm and tonality as well as techniques for creating, developing, and performing new music.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
