The Before and Afterschool programs are in multiple locations in and around Hanover. Job Openings and Schedule vary depending upon location.

Group Leaders: 18 years +

Before School: Monday - Friday 6:45 am -8:45

After School: Monday - Friday 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm

• This is a part time position with both before school and afterschool hours available operating Monday through Friday.
• Successful candidates with desire to work with young children must be at least 18 years of age, with a High School Diploma and a minimum of six months experience working with school age children (or 3 months with a degree).
• Successful candidates should provide community leadership for family/child development, encourage life-long learning in students, promote the YMCA’s core values, and show commitment to the Y’s three areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

• All educators employed by the South Shore YMCA Afterschool Program will be required to successfully complete the following trainings included in our on- boarding process; CPR/First Aid, OSHA and Emergency Procedures, Child Abuse Prevention and Reporting, new employee orientation and South Shore YMCA Afterschool orientation including all EEC requirements such as online medical training, PQ registration, and professional development trainings.
