Ideal candidate profile

Ideal candidate would have experience installing/upgrading Informatica on servers covering all aspects which is key to this role. They need to have the ability to look at Informatica failures, long running jobs, errors and resolve issues or know which action to take next.

Top three MUST have skills:

• Informatica Administration
• Programming/Scripting skills ( In Shell Scripting, Python or ansible)
• Cloud – AWS or Azure ( Not mandatory but preferred)

• Windows administration (Nice to Have)

We will be building out our ELT/ETL capability on AWS and Azure

The Role

• This role provides an exciting opportunity to roll out a new critical initiative within Enterprise Cloud Computing(ECC) Data Movement Services. The Informatica (IICS) Systems Engineer serves as a development and support authority with responsibility for the design, development, automation, testing, support and administration of the cloud infrastructure for ETL/ELT capabilities. The role requires experience with IICS, Talend or other ETL/ELT technologies. The incumbent will be responsible for enabling infrastructure features, ongoing support and documentation for the service. The platform provides a data hub and a blueprint for integrating with existing upstream and downstream technology solutions.
• This role is infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and support. The position requires a solid background in computer architecture, software development, data management systems, distributed computing, and a proven understanding of the open-source technology ecosystem. An ideal prospect will have technical expertise, customer engagement skills, superb communication skills, and a passion for organizing and analyzing data.
