Instructional Aide Special Education
Job description
This position is to work at High Hope, located in Statesboro, GA serving our individuals who have developmental disabilities.
Instructional Aide prepares instructional material and maintains order and cleanliness in the learning environment. Plan and conduct individual development activities. Monitor and supervise various classroom functions. Use observational skills to remain aware of changes in the behavior and physical condition of consumers. Assist with meal preparation, field trips, transportation and other activities.
You must have a High School Diploma or GED in order to work for the State of Georgia, and have
1 year experience working with DD or MR consumers.
Must be 21 years old to apply and have a current driver's license.
All applicants will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report Check, Drug Test, as well as National (NCIC) and local (GCIC) criminal background checks.
