We are seeking someone to join our Allen Edmonds team in St. Louis as a Manager, Merchandise Planning & Allocation. In this role, you will work to maximize sales through effective planning amongst a highly collaborative and innovative team.
Responsibilities:
As a Manager, Merchandise Planning & Allocation, you will:
- Develop preseason item forecasts that align with growth strategies by class, optimize size/width opportunities and maintain desired in-store visual standards.
- Assure category sales are maximized and lifecycle management goals are achieved thru monthly review of item forecasts and of store inventory models.
- Manage and develop Merchandise Allocation Specialist; provide guidance on systematic changes to optimize allocation.
- Manage total store inventory to planned inventory/capacity levels and initiates global adjustments as needed.
- Generate reporting and perform ad hoc data analysis to help the team make business decisions that maximize sales and manage inventory.
- Collaborate consistently with demand planning, manufacturing and retail operations teams.

Qualifications:
We seek people with these qualifications:
- 4+ years' previous retail planning experience
- Previous allocation and merchandising experience
- Advanced Excel skills and JDA experience preferred
