Manager Supply Chain Sub-Function
Who we are?
The opportunity
Recognize and manage customer demand for all responsible SKUs. Develop demand plans for use in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and supply planning colleagues. Interact with Marketing Product Managers and Sales organizations to facilitate the demand planning process. Drive improvements to forecast accuracy, enabling Teva to better serve its patients and deliver on financial commitments.
How you’ll spend your day
Planner/Analyst
- Develop the aggregate demand plan and supporting assumptions on a monthly basis for S&OP.
- Develop a macro forecast to validate the overall size of the business and identify improvement or underperforming products.
- Develop, document, update and challenge the factors and assumptions supporting the Demand Plan.
- Develop SKU forecast as input for supply planning, based on the aggregate demand plan.
- Measure and report forecast accuracy and bias at SKU, customer and product family levels.
- Maintain and use the forecast error data to quantify inventory strategies required to meet customer service targets.
Process Coordinator
- Assist the sales, marketing and product management organization, including the demand review leader, in preparation for the Demand Consensus Review and Integrated Review and Management Business Review.
- Monitor the demand plan performance, providing detailed input to sales and marketing management for use in the demand consensus review and S&OP meetings. Measure and report actual vs planned performance overall, by SKU, product family, mix, etc.
- Serve as US market focal point for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process
Communicator
- Establish, maintain and utilize forecasting and communication tools for accomplishing above.
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for supply planning team, including the Site Supply Lead and Market Supply Planner, to manage change and balance supply and demand to achieve the optimal balance of customer responsiveness and production stability. Participate in the development and evaluation of what-if simulations to resolve demand/supply imbalances.
Your experience and qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Industrial Engineering, or other similar field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum three (3) years of planning experience, preferably in a production environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. APICS CPIM certification preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Basic Supply Chain end to end planning knowledge including but not limited to raw material requirements through finished goods distribution
- Capacity Planning processes and understanding of how to work through both over and under capacity scenarios
- Manufacturing and packaging processes knowledge:
- Knowledge of Inventory Level management, including but not limited to safety stock setting and backorder/backlog management.
SAP ECC and APO experience:
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
