Marketing Initiatives - Marketing Analyst
The Marketing Initiatives – Marketing Analyst operates within the Marketing Initiatives team, developing and implementing strategic, global marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for overall project management of the global initiatives and thought leadership calendar. They will operate independently in support of global, client-focused marketing campaigns and initiatives that advance our firm messaging and deliver on the strategic objectives of the organization, including the management of the strategy and managing workflow and tasks for the design, production and execution of strategic projects. The Marketing Initiatives Analyst will work directly with subject matter experts and senior leaders of the firm to develop creative yet relevant content to support their initiatives and will be responsible for creating integrated cross-channel deliverables, as well as managing distribution and promotion aligned with specialized regional needs.
The Marketing Initiatives Team
The Marketing Initiatives team combines the power of the Neuberger Berman product platform and industry expertise with our client-first mentality, to produce global marketing programs that elevate Neuberger Berman’s strategic positioning and drive business results. Bringing together creativity, technology skills, business insights and industry best practices, the team leverages various marketing tactics to deliver a cohesive, consistent message globally to all of our clients and provide meaningful tools to client coverage teams that aid in their client conversations. Its core focus is to execute on global initiatives with agility and measurable performance through best-of-breed solutions, consistency of process, format and distribution, and centralization/optimization of key tools and processes.
Responsibilities
  • Develops and manages strategic alignment and project management of marketing campaigns and initiatives across all regions and sales channels.
  • Serves as primary point of contact with subject matter experts, investment writers, legal and compliance, design, digital and sales channel colleagues as needed to execute on strategic initiatives.
  • Provides day-to-day work guidance to the project team, which may include internal team members, colleagues and vendors/contractors
  • Maintains full ownership of content direction, operational aspects of campaign and project execution, through a deep understanding of differentiated regional and channel team needs and close collaboration with channel managers
  • Tracks and executes project tasks, timelines and reporting in Workfront, ensuring that work is completed and distributed on schedule
  • Creates project summary/overview materials for partners and senior leadership around updates concerning campaign, project completion and metrics
  • Effectively manages projects across multidisciplinary teams, which may consist of creatives, technologists, media experts, data analysts, etc.
  • Identifies potential project risks, develop contingency plans, and appropriately manage and escalate risks
  • Attend regular meetings with channel & digital counterparts to prioritize work
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance or marketing preferred
  • Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage different working styles to effectively influence partners
  • Understanding of asset management industry and solution selling mindset
  • Executive presence, professional client service manner, ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management and adapt to business needs
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, follow-through and problem-solving skills
  • A keen sense of creativity and organization with ability to prioritize and manage client expectations across multiple, competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
  • Team oriented, collaborative approach with ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet client expectations and deadlines across multiple projects
  • Collaborative working style focused on building relationships with partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Workfront or other project management software experience preferred
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $60,000-$80,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
