Job purpose
Support business needs by providing manufacturing support, new product development, and derivatives.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop product based on input from sales
- Creating and executing test plan
- Create, approve, and distribute Engineering Change Notices
- Release part modifications to support Manufacturing
- Identify and execute on projects related to warranty improvement
- Identify and execute on projects related to cost take out
- Create new and revise existing bill of materials
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in related field or 15 years of experience in an Engineering role
- 10 years of experience in related field
- Experience with 3D modeling/drawings
- Fundamental understanding of Engineering principles
- Self-starter and hands-on approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Sheetmetal design experience preferred
- Experience in foodservice a plus
Working conditions
- This position will be based in an office setting, but at times will require a hands-on approach. Occasional prototyping and testing will result in the operation of tools in the manufacturing environment.
Physical requirements
- Will be required to lift 30lbs occasionally, as manufacturing is supported.
