Senior Full Stack Developer / Automation Engineer

The Role

An exciting opportunity within the Ryzen platform Test Automation and Data Analytics team. Work with a larger team of senior developers to create solutions to help scale AMD’s automated testing and debug infrastructure to meet our ever-growing line of products. Help the team to migrate existing tools to the cloud and adopt industry standard best practices for creating robust and scalable solutions. The Person

Your technical abilities will directly impact AMD’s success with tier-one partners. This is a full stack position with a heavy emphasis on front-end UI development. You will work collaboratively with developers and global operations teams inside AMD. This position requires an outstanding background of software development, debugging skills, communication skills, ability to prototype, testing and to clearly articulate possible technical challenges associated with the implementation. Must be self-motivated, able to work well within a team and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Highly Proficient in Web Application development

• Highly Proficient in UI Design

• Highly Proficient or near Experienced knowledge on Azure DevOps

• Full-time experience using scripting skills in Python or Ruby

• Experience with Blazor, Angular, React be a considered an asset

• Experience in integration of code quality checkers (into CI/CD) such as Coverity, Lint, X-Ray, Blackduck, Sonar, will be considered an asset

• Experience in System Design or Silicon Design or Product Engineering highly valued.

• Extensive knowledge in PC configuration (both Software and Hardware)

• Exhibited working Familiarity with JIRA, Kanban boards and AGILE/Kanban concepts

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows scripting and configuration

• Familiarity with Test Automation will be considered an asset

  
  

Academic Credentials

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

• Relevant proven experience a must as architect/tech lead
