Why this role

As part of our People team, the Senior Manager of Workday HRIS will partner with internal and external stakeholders to lead the optimization of Evolve’s new HCM system, Workday. You will own the full suite of the Workday platform and will lead the HRIS team, as well as serve as the technical expert to meet the needs of the People Team and broader business. You will be evaluating and providing continuous recommendations for new system features, functionality, and enhancements. Sitting on the Total Rewards team, we are leading some exciting initiatives to enhance the Evolver experience and you’ll be part of it!

What you’ll do

  • Full leadership and ownership of Workday, including but not limited to Core HCM, US Payroll, US Benefits, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation, Absence Management, People Analytics modules.
  • Set the strategic roadmap of Workday to ensure durable growth and scalability of the system and the team.
  • Find ways to #beefficient and solution for more automated processes within the system to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Serve as the lead representative and liaison between the People team, IT, external vendors and other stakeholders for all HRIS required updates, maintenance, and any other ad hoc projects requested.
  • Lead and ensure the success of ongoing HRIS projects, including the creation of effective RASCIs, ensure stakeholders meet deadlines, stay on budget, and implement best practices that align with Evolve’s total rewards and business philosophies.
  • Recommend and implement Workday enhancements, best practices, and continuously take opportunities to build efficiencies using the platform, including business processes and integrations.
  • Make the Evolver experience a priority by ensuring the team troubleshoots issues timely and effectively and determine solutions for escalated system limitations and issues that arise.
  • Lead the establishment of robust reporting, including dashboards, delivered analytics, and requested reports for leadership.
  • Oversee all Workday-related budgets.
  • Own all configuration changes, including system integrations, business processes, and field configurations.

What makes you a great fit

  • 8+ years of Workday consulting or specialized experience.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience of strong Workday knowledge, including Core HCM, US Payroll, US Benefits, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation, Absence Management, People Analytics, etc.
  • Integration and BP configuration expertise required; integration experience with Okta and Greenhouse preferred.
  • Workday certifications preferred.
  • A business-minded people leader and functional Workday expert who can thrive in a culture that is fast paced, results-oriented, and hospitality focused
  • Cross-functional project management experience and organizational skills with an aptitude for forward planning
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple competing priorities while continuing to advance critical initiatives.
  • An ability to gain trust through effective communication and doing what you say you will do.
  • A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, strong attention to detail and common sense.

Location

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both! As we grow, we are working towards opening remote opportunities across the entire U.S. We currently are able to hire across the U.S except in the following locations: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania.

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $136,000-$156,000, depending on relevant experience
