We are seeking a part-time Ultrasonographer for our physician offices in Montgomery County, MD. Our office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00AM- 4:30PM.
Ultrasonographer Responsibilities:
- Perform high quality urologic sonograms according to company and accrediting body protocols. Generate report of technical findings to assist physician with diagnosis and treatment.
- Ability to train in MRI Fusion procedures
- Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment and maneuver patients in order to obtain quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Obtain and record in a timely manner accurate patient information, including prior test results and information from physical examinations.
- Maintain supplies, prepare supplies for special examinations and order supplies as needed.
- Act professionally as a team player
- As part of your position’s requirements, you may be asked to travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region.
- Perform other clinical and office duties as assigned by manager.

Ultrasonographer Job Requirements:
- Certificate of completion of requirements from a recognized and accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) board certification or eligibility; Abdomen certification required.
- Minimum of one year of experience performing diagnostic ultrasound studies.
- Maintain CME requirements as required by ARDMS.
- CPR certification is required.
- Ability to travel to other sites as necessary.
