SSA Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA (JBLM)

Summary:

PD Systems is seeking a qualified SSA Warehouse Supervisor (SWS) to support our Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) contract at Joint Base Lewis- McChord, WA (JBLM). The SWS is responsible for the management and supervision of contract personnel in support of a Supply Support Activity (SSA). The SWS manages supply systems policy, functional procedures, and supervises staff in the performance of a variety of duties to include: shipping, receiving, stocking, storing, and inventory selection. The SWS prepares and maintains various regular inventory and or shipping reports to management, authorizes and/or rejects shipments, and resolves discrepancies. The SWS will delegate work assignments, maintain the work area, and serve as contact for suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. This person is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements and for ensuring the timely submission of accurate and complete time records including all appropriate signatures and certifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance of a full range of warehousing activities to include: receiving, inspecting, inventorying, loading, unloading, segregating, storing, issuing, delivering, and processing turned-in supplies and equipment using the Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A).
  • Plan and organize receipt, issue, salvage, and maintenance of records for all classes of supply except Class V and Class VIII.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse productivity and activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; monitor and manage warehouse inventory to assure accuracy.
  • Manage and supervise a staff of warehouse employees to include safe practices, inventory accuracy and proficient work habits.
  • Direct supply personnel in establishment and maintenance of supply and inventory control management functions.
