Our school is currently seeking a lead Upper Elementary teacher to join our wonderful team! Clever Oaks Montessori School is a family-owned and operated school. We are passionate about serving children and we take pride in providing a high-quality experience for all who enter, and especially for the families we serve.

Candidates will work alongside a strong team of teachers will be responsible for presenting the grades 4th to 6th (Upper) curriculum to students. Knowledge of Montessori philosophy is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidate should be open to implementing a Montessori-inspired approach. Lesson planning, record-keeping, participating in parent conferences, etc. are all part of duties. Position is to begin for the 2023-2024 school year, however, candidate would have the opportunity to begin working earlier to assist with putting the classroom together.

Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Experience leading a classroom and creating lesson plans for 4th, 5th and potentially 6th grade students.
• Meet all state requirements and background checks
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Accountable for the delivery of an authentic Montessori Program or Montessori-inspired
• Dedicated to fostering a calm, nurturing and creative classroom environment
• Experience with positive family engagement including communicating directly with parents
• Self-motivated, self-directed and able to manage time effectively
