Job Summary

To effectively manage the day-to-day flow of all warehouse and delivery related material through Green Mechanical Construction, while performing all duties assigned as reflected in the following description. This is an hourly position. Overtime may be necessary at times. Occasional weekend work possible, but not often. Must have a clean driving record. Ability to operate a fork lift and pull a trailer preferred. Must be an organized individual. Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.

REQUIRED:

• Organizes all materials housed in warehouse and outdoor lot.
• Inventories usable material, discards unusable material, working directly with Workforce Coordinator/direct supervisor and Project Managers to determine needs and keeps all stored material to a minimum.
• Ability to Manage or assist with the complete tool inventory alongside the Workforce Coordinator/Direct supervisor. This Includes all power tools, hand tools and other larger equipment.
• Dispenses necessary tools when needed and track location of those tools with accuracy.
• Works with Workforce Coordinator to purchases tools and maintain relationships with tool vendors.
• Pick up material or equipment from vendors and/or deliver material to various jobsites in GMCI shop/delivery truck.
• Understand and adhere to the company purchasing policy.
• Makes all necessary office related deliveries and pick-ups.
• Accept deliveries when they arrive at the office and document the deliveries per our office policy and let relevant parties know of their arrival.
• Maintains office grounds (mowing, weed eating, brush trimming, etc.), as well as keeping the lot and warehouse clean and organized daily.
• Adheres to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
• Adheres to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
• Ensures a welcome and hospitable office/warehouse environment.
• Answer doors and be able to determine the visitors needs and how they should be handled.
• Monitor office and shop restrooms and keep them stocked with paper products and toiletries, and let direct superior know when new orders need placed to replenish items.
• Work directly with the Workforce Coordinator/direct superior to help manage the company fleet, facilitate logistics for maintenance needs, and servicing. .
• Ability to sit/drive for multiple hours at a time.
• Ability to lift or move at least 50 pounds repetitively and daily.
• Must be able to communicate clearly through speaking in person, phone, text, email and all other possible media.
• Performs all other tasks assigned by upper management or delegate to proper entity.

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of tools and equipment, specifically those related to HVAC, Plumbing and Pipefitting.
• Ability to assess and repair tools when necessary, and be able to determine and look up needed parts for the tools or equipment. If its beyond our ability to repair, make that decision in a timely manner and coordinate with Workforce Coordinator or direct superior to have it repaired by professional party.
• Experience pulling large trailers or equipment behind trucks
• Ability to make small repairs and conduct maintenance around the office and shop when needed.
• Experience creating systems or spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage your own time efficiently with little oversight.
• Knowledge of Microsoft excel and other products that will streamline processes and ensure accurate tracking of tools and equipment.
• Experience and proficient use of email
• Experience and proficient use of laptop, iPhone, iPad or other similar technologies.
• Proficient use of Fork Lift and similar equipment.
