The Precertification Specialist is responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for all procedural orders by successfully completing the authorization process with all payers.

MAIN FUNCTION: Works within a team environment pre-authorizing out patient exams for various hospital services. This position will require a degree of complexity and prior anatomy education.
