Job description
Production Peeler is responsible for performing all facets of peeling casing off products. Ensures work is completed in a safe manner and within the quality and food safety parameters established. This position requires problem solving responsibilities.

- Knowledge and experience in Meat Industry is preferred, but not required
- Must possess problem solving skills and leadership qualities
- Competent and trustworthy to comply with federal inspection programs and company safety and health policies.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Be available to work scheduled hours, which may include mandatory overtime, depending upon production demands.
- Ability to learn multiple positions
- Must meet performance expectations for the position being covered
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Detail oriented
- Must have Mathematic Skills
- Must be able to operate a motortruck and/or forklift
- Must be able to lockout/tag out equipment
- Must have the ability to use computerized equipment
- Being able to understand and follow oral and written instruction

Assembles, disassembles and sets up machine
- Checks Equipment for missing or loose parts
- Hangs hotdogs in cellulose casing on a metal rod to be placed in oven. Rod weights 30-65lbs
- Performs various checks and documentation of data
