Specialty Systems, Inc. (SSI) has an immediate position opening for a Senior Logistics/Reliability Analysts to support our Department of Defense customer at NAVAIR Pax River Headquarters in Lexington Park, Maryland. In this position you will join a technical team that is responsible for developing and decomposing system requirements, producing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts using commercially available modeling tools, and developing innovative design approaches leading to the development of highly capable and affordable Naval Aviation Systems. As a member of the SSI team, you will be able to experience the professional satisfaction of playing a key role in ensuring that our Navy customers systems have a direct impact on our country's warfighting and peace-keeping capabilities. This position is located at our customer site in NAVAIR at Patuxent River, MD.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the level II Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL) for the MQ-9 Aircraft Production and Deployment (IPT) to lead a team.
- Responsible for managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk associated with MQ-9 Site Stand Up.
- Manage all awarded Site Stand up contracts, and ensuring adherence to delivery schedules.
- Lead, direct, liaison, or represent PMA-266 with UAS experts from various PEO, NAVAIR, NAWCAD, FRC, FST, competencies, prime contractors, Fleet users, and other government agencies.
- Provide guidance and coordinating efforts of engineering, logistics, financial management, and contracting personnel.
