This well-respected and growing practice has a strong need for Patent Attorneys and Patent Agents with solid technical backgrounds. The primary need relates to the preparation and prosecution of patents, portfolio strategy and counseling, opinions, and possible transactional work. The type of work will be dependent upon experience and whether licensed as an attorney or an agent.

Here, you will have the opportunity to deal with a diverse array of hardware and software technologies (industrial and consumer electronics, analog and digital circuits, chip architecture, wireless telecommunications, enterprise applications, network security, network protocols, databases, web and cloud services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source, etc.). Client and portfolio assignment will be dependent upon technical expertise and experience.

Patent Attorney Requirements:
Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science. Must have at least 2 years of patent law experience. USPTO bar and state bar required.

Patent Agent Requirements:
Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (preferably MS or higher). Must have at least 2 years of claim drafting and prosecution experience. USPTO bar required.
