Hansen Foods is searching for a 2nd shift Warehouse Specialist to help support the operations of our production facility. In this role you will be responsible for shipping & receiving, organizing all products within our warehouse, coolers & freezers. Hours: 2nd shift 12pm – 8pm Monday through Friday, in addition, will require some Saturdays.

Warehouse Specialist Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming products and report any damaged products
• Compare incoming and outgoing shipments to the bill of lading
• Accurately Process sales orders, purchase orders, and transfer orders, etc. using in-house software
• Stage product for production
• Conduct accurate audits of raw materials and supplies
• Organize dry storage, coolers, and freezers daily to meet FIFO (first in, first out) requirements, utilizing the in-house inventory tracking system
• Work with the production team to ensure consumption of raw materials & packaging items are accurately pulled to meet FIFO (first in, first out) requirements
• Flexible with hours based on production’s needs
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Warehouse Specialist Qualifications:

• Forklift experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Experience with inventory control is a plus but not required
• Strong initiative, self-starter with a continues-improvement mindset
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent problem solver who sees solutions instead of obstacles
• Knowledge of quality and food safety programs
• Ability to learn all applicable USDA, FDA and OSHA regulations applicable to Hansen’s operation

Physical Requirements:

• Able to walk regularly around the building, including climbing steps and occasionally climbing on a ladder
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Able to work in high pace environment
• Able to bend, squat, sit and stand
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to work in cooler and freezers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
