Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish and operate the Early Alert System.
• Communicate Early Alert System output and alerts to responsible staff members.
• Report on the use of the Early Alert System and on advising action taken in response to alerts.
• Train appropriate departmental personnel in the use of the Early Alert System.
• Analyze data to assist with institutional reporting, including data on student enrollment, demographics, retention, progression, completion, transfer, engagement, and satisfaction. Submit quarterly and monthly project activity reports to Title III Project Director. Provide supportive services to students as required by Title III.
• Related duties as required.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a data-driven or statistically oriented field such as Computer Science or Statistics from an accredited university or institution.

Required Experience: Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics in a professional setting. Experience operating statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS, or R. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). Experience with diverse student populations. Ability to multi-task and work in teams. Highly organized.

Required Licenses or Certifications: N/A

Preferred Education: Master's degree in a data-driven or statistically oriented field such as computer science or statistics.

Preferred Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in higher education institutional research or a similar field. At least one (1) year of experience training others in the use of software.

Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
