Bring your skills, experience and passion to the AAA Club Alliance Team and join us as a District Director for Car Care, providing leadership to 11 Automotive Repair locations in the Dayton and Northern Cincinnati markets.

The primary duties of the District Director for Car Care include:

• Leads, guides, and directs Car Care operations within the assigned District in achieving budgeted revenue growth, sales and bottom line net profits. Oversees the launch of new Car Care Insurance & Travel (CCIT) operations within their district or as assigned and management of existing stores to include, but not limited to: effectively hiring Managers and/or guiding and supporting hiring of all other store associates.
• Regulates and ensures alignment of scheduling to meet changing business needs ensuring staffing levels are adequate, sales goals, service goals, and individual performance standards are efficiently met or exceeded.
• Maintains overall responsibility for service delivery, staff administration, facility appearance and safety, purchasing, record keeping, inventory control, and other operational areas of the facility to meet or exceed projected net income as outlined in the annual budget.
• Effectively manages and motivates direct reports to meet or exceed office/departmental goals through goals setting, clear expectations; coaching and counseling; results measurement; performance feedback; reward and recognition; and issuing corrective actions etc. to ensure overall quality of staff development/effectiveness and productivity.
• Provides leadership in fostering a sales and quality culture through ensuring Quality Standard behaviors are consistently practiced in member interactions; confirming all associates understand their roles and job expectations relative to corporate goals and strategic priorities; holding managers accountable for results and assessing performance and coaching for improvement; identifying and arranging for training needs; and certifying administrative and technical competencies are maintained and updated.
• Participates as a member of the business line leadership team to develop business line strategy. Offer informed solutions to business problems, where indicated, and maintains current level of knowledge about the company’s potential future business requirements. Develops strong ongoing relationships working with a variety of external (AAA & Industry) contacts and vendors with whom the incumbent communicates to gather information, negotiate contracts, and/or develop programs to generate business for the CCIT enhancing the AAA image in the community.

Minimum Qualifications as the District Director for Car Care:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or other applicable field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 8 years of overall business experience, with 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role which involved direct customer contact in a high paced retail environment.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Proficient in the use of internet technology for research.
• Ability to work autonomously, managing multiple stores with an emphasis on Car Care.
• Ability to effectively delegate and manage remotely and work effectively with cross-functional teams and regional/corporate support departments.
• Strong acumen to P&L performance.
• Willingness and ability to travel to assigned stores working with on-site staff as needed.
• The ability to complete a satisfactory Pre-Employment Screening (background check and drug screening) if offered the position.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
