Join our amazing team! Catholic Charities North Dakota is seeking a full time Adoption Worker in the AASK (Adults Adopting Special Kids) program for their Minot, ND office. Responsibilities include completing child assessments and engaging in adoption preparation activities, conducting thorough assessments on families adopting from foster care, and assisting in general recruitment activities for children with no identified adoptive home. This position will work primarily with children in tribal custody and the families who adopt them. This role will include building positive working relationships with tribal partners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as a ND Social Work License and experience working with children and families. Regular travel is required. Criminal background, abuse/neglect, and driver’s record checks conducted on all new hires.
