Account Manager
Location: Plano, Texas
About this opportunity
We are looking for an Account Manager to oversee sales for the AT&T Cloud Software and Services with a focus on orchestration and other enterprise edge services like MEC. In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer engagements around new technologies such as 5G, SD-WAN, SASE and Cybersecurity being applied to industrial networks. Responsible for leading sales, contribution, and cash-flow, including working capital. We are searching for an Account Manager that will act with confident authority to develop business relationships while actively contributing to make our customer successful
What you will do
- Secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development and management of Ericsson resources based on fundamental understanding of the customer and its business, operations, and objectives
- Be accountable for business development, in years sales, cost of sales and operating expenditures
- Be responsible for consolidated customer contribution and cash-flow including working capital
- Advocate for customer & partner with Business areas and MA Domains; use deep connections to influence inside Ericsson to deliver on commitments
- Effectively lead, mentor, and manage the Core 3 team
- Lead by example in embedding Ericsson-on-the-Move’s Five Focus Areas within the organization.
You will bring
- 10 years+ of sales experience of selling BCSS Products and Services. International and/or extended MANA sales experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field
- Strong understanding of Ericsson's Cloud & Software Services business with deep knowledge of Ericsson products and services including broad understanding of new product introduction and sales (SD-WAN, SASE, OSS & Data Analytics, BSS, Packet Core & Communication Services, Cloud & NFVi) to product solutions and delivery including 5G
- Deep understanding of Large/Medium Enterprise connectivity needs and challanges
- Understanding of Enterprise edge services like SD-WAN & SASE – Orchestration and lifecycle management of the services
- Enterprise technologies like IP, MPLS, Switched Ethernet, SD-WAN/SASE, cybersecurity
- Good understanding of the technologies in Overlay and Underlay domain
- Knowledge of Ericsson Orchestration solutions and competitive technologies (Cisco, VMWare, Ciena, etc.)
- Understanding of Network and Devices (MEC) Day 0(Survey and field services), Day 1(Deployment and Commissioning) and Day 2(Operation and LCM)
- Deep understanding of Ericsson Service Delivery process, compliance, models, and strategy Including agile process and DevOps CICD delivery
- Prior Sales Director experience, large CU / GCU or BA experience would be a considerable plus
This role reports to the Head of Cloud Software & Services Sales
