Position Summary:
This position will hold responsibility for growing and manging the business across defined key Pharmaceutical accounts across the Nordic’s for the Bio-Techne portfolio. Working closely with the Instrument and Genomic Specialists, you will offer customers a high level of value by supporting their research and product development with unique solutions across their entire workflow.
You will develop a high knowledge of customers, their workflows and the wider market in order to achieve strategies to increase business and market share.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the growth of the full Bio-techne portfolio within key accounts throughout the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland).
- Develop a high level of understanding of our products and delivering value through a solution-based approach.
- Identify and develop Executive level relationships to drive key partnership opportunities.
- Identification of prospective customers to engage and initiate discussions, via multiple touch points including face to face meetings, email, phone and social media.
- Business Plan development for each key account.
- Understand the full pharmaceutical workflow and Network throughout the Nordic countries.
- Using Industry knowledge, aim to initiate workflow discussions early in the planning phase of product development.
- Build and strengthen your network and relationships within the customer organisation.
- Understanding customer goals, focus, budgets, needs, preferences, and their influencers.
- Awareness of customer views on competitor products.
- Work closely with the Genomics and Instrumentation Specialists to enhance account opportunities and expand the business.
- Work with Marketing to execute specific campaigns as part of the strategy.
- Forecasting revenue on monthly and quarterly basis to the Territory Business Manager.
- On occasions represent the company and network at domestic and international conferences.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BSc in a biological based subject.
- Experience within the Life Science Market.
- Experience in Industrial setting/Pharmaceutical sector.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience of strategic planning and working in a target driven environment.
- Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
- Possess strong IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential.
