• Develop, maintain and communicate a sound business plan that meets organizational goals and objectives
• Responsible for ensuring company expectations are met in the areas of safety, facility budget and a variety of performance metrics
• Oversees the directing, planning and laying out details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the repair facility in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and manufacturers recommendations for aircraft
• Has overall operational control of the repair station facility
• Coordinates with Chief Inspector, General Manager and Senior Manager of Maintenance Operations regarding Company maintenance policies and procedures, as well as scheduling both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft
• Ensures maintenance programs are followed during inspection and repair of aircraft
• Remains abreast of regulatory and industry developments as they pertain to aircraft maintenance and avionics techniques
• Prepares a variety of written correspondence and periodic and special reports regarding work planned and performed
• Works with the Maintenance Managers, Safety, and Human Resources to ensure that all maintenance personnel and contractors performing work on aircraft are covered by an approved Anti-Drug/Alcohol Abuse Program
• Ensures all maintenance technicians are certified and supervised according to requirements specified in the FAR
• Contributed and support the Company’s Safety Risk Management, Security, and Quality systems
• Perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) years of experience as a master Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or previous experience as an Accountable Manager or Director of Maintenance under either Part 145 or 135 operations
• Current FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings which must be kept current
• 12 years of corporate aviation experience is preferred as well as knowledge of the fractional industry
• Must be proficient in MS word, excel, and other required computer software

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be able to delegate and follow up appropriately
• Must possess the legal ability to work in the United States

• Physical demands may require a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) along with various office equipment
• Physical demands may include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to visually and aurally assess conditions.
