A family office in Miami Beach is seeking a full time Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper. Experience in Investment Accounting is a plus. Candidate will support Family Office with the recording and reporting of different investment transactions.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Monthly reconciliation of cash and investments for various entities
  • Responsible for making required daily General Ledger entries
  • Generate accurate and complete financial statements
  • Review bank/investment accounts and financial statements for accuracy and to resolve any discrepancies
  • Responsible for tracking, analyzing and recording investment transactions
  • Maintain records for private equity, venture capital activity, real estate and other types of closed-end funds
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Accounting/Finance degree or in the alternative, a minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting position
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to details
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
  • QuickBooks a MUST, Word and Excel proficient.
  • Excellent verbal skills in both English and Spanish
