The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the client trust accounts under the supervision of the Director of Financial Services. This role provides financial management services to persons' served who have a mental health diagnosis. This role will meet and interact with clients and collaboratively maintain 50 client trust accounts. This role ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve clients’ problems and concerns. The Accounting Clerk will assist clients with money management, setting financial goals, tracking credit score, enrolling in savings programs and other services.

Requirements:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
- Proficient in MS Office products with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience with mental health/substance use to inspire and support others.
- Must obtain 1st COVID-19 vaccination by start date, followed by the 2nd dosage and remaining booster within CDC’s interval guidelines.
