Job description

Full Time Accounting Clerk position in a growing, fast paced, multi-division business located in Hurricane, UT. This position requires a high level of accuracy, follow through, integrity and initiative.

Accounting Clerk Duties and Responsibilities

• Reports to the Senior Accountant
• Work with business owners and business managers and other staff to obtain financial information and support documents
• Prepare Journal Entries
• Prepare specialized reports when needed
• Prioritize and track the progression and completion of assignments
• Assist with account and bank reconciliations
• Check preparation and cutting
• Process sales tax
• Entering payments from customers
• Online payments, ACH’s and Melio payments
• Other duties as assigned

Accounting Clerk Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields preferred
• One year of accounting experience preferred
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Data entry experience
• Able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with payroll processing
• General comfort with Microsoft Office programs, QuickBooks and have general comfort with technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
