Southern Companies is a well-established trucking company which provides logistical services to many companies around the country. We have locations in Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Savannah and Charleston.

As our company is expanding, we are looking to hire a Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for:

• Creating Customer Invoices
• Ensuring that all work orders are invoiced
• Ensuring that invoices are created accurately and in a timely manner

• Collaborating with customers to resolve billing inconsistencies/discrepancies
• Communicate/assist other departments regarding billing issues
• Posting vendor invoices
• Reviewing vendor statements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting
• Critical thinking
• Detailed-Oriented

• Highly organized with great time-management skills

• Great written and verbal communication skills

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Outlook, Web and Office (Excel, Word)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Preferred Experience:

• QuickBooks (1-2 years)
• Microsoft Teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
