Accounting Manager

An opportunity to do something big. Babson Diagnostics is searching for an Accounting Manager to join us on our team. In this role you will manage financial reporting and be a strategic partner to the head of Finance/Accounting. Babson Diagnostics is a medical technology company with a new vision for diagnostic blood testing. Our proprietary technology is designed to produce accurate diagnostic results from small capillary samples collected at convenient retail locations and analyzed at our CLIA-certified clinical laboratory. Job Responsibilities

• Manage closing process and drive accurate financial reporting. Communicate the results with the leadership and provide recommendations on improving the financial metrics
• Build and lead a world class team of Finance/Accounting professionals as the business scale
• Actively participate in various system implementations to scale the business
• Lead process improvement initiatives with financial reporting as well as provide recommendations for other departments the best practices to increase the efficiencies
• Assist with the company’s financial planning processes including yearly budget, cash forecasts and long-term projections

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience (big 4 preferred), corporate accounting, and experience in venture capital or PE backed companies preferred
• System Implementation Experience to scale the business is preferred (NetSuite a plus)
• Analytical and process driven yet a creative thinker who can adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• A rising star who desires to grow with the organization and wants to contribute more for the organization to be successful
• An aspiring leader who can lead the team by doing (“roll-up sleeves”) and can get stuff done
• A Team Player who has a positive can-do attitude
• Someone who wants to make a difference and care about the culture he/she will cultivate at Babson
