Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and grow our in-house Rally Brand line-up. This position will be the financial lead for our emerging line from Rally Brands, while at the same time supporting our operations and merchandising teams.

Responsibilities for Accounting Manager

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes, and contract compliance
• Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
• Prepare, review, and analyze Rally Brands financials on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions within Rally Brands
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Work closely with vendors to maintain accurate payments while resolving discrepancies within a timely manner

Qualifications for Accounting Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
• Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.
