Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duration: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close activities including ensuring close deadlines are met, reviewing team recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations.
• Manage the integration, configuration, and administration of any new accounting systems.
• Assist the Controller and the accounting team in the preparation of documentation for the annual external audit.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and various periodic reports.
• Perform technical accounting research, prepare documentation, and assist in implementation of accounting standards, including internal controls and procedures.
• Manage the Corporate General Accounting team, Sales and Property Tax and Fixed Asset functions.

Requirements & Skills:

• 5+ years of related experience
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree: concentration in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting theory/principals/practices, three financial statements, and General Ledger
• Familiar with percentage of completion revenue recognition
• Strong priority management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to describe accounting systems and processes in written correspondence and in procedure manual format.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of accounting information systems to present.
