I. Job Summary
This position supports the accounting department and the controller doing a variety of responsibilities as
needed. Supervise Accounting Clerk I positions.
Guest Communication

- Efficiently follow up on all requests.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Communicate with other departments, supervisors/managers and employees as needed.
- Attend team briefings as needed.
- Monitor time clock punches.
- Coordinate with department managers to fix employee punch errors by 11:00 am daily.
- Prepare daily labor reports.
- Perform new employee orientation to include pre-employment background screening and new
- Maintain employment records with confidentiality.
- Process semi-monthly payroll.
- Process PTO accrual and maintenance.
- Benefit Administration
o Process and monitor unemployment insurance.
o Manage new enrollments and terminations with notification of any/all changes to insurance carriers.
o Conduct annual benefits renewal.
o Maintain and administer COBRA assignment.
- Reconcile daily cash and recording in the General Ledger.
- Maintain promotional accounts on a daily basis.
- Responsible for balancing incoming cash to prior days cash sales.
- Deposit all income daily.
- Audit and maintain all house banks.
- Change distribution and reimbursement.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable clerks.
- Maintain credit card processing site.
- Support all point of sale uses.
- Train and support Accounting Clerk I issues as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- High School degree or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of computers
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to multi-task
- Possess excellent customer service skills, effective oral and written English skills
- Four year college degree in accounting or on-the- job accounting experience
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software and office equipment
- Knowledge of human resources practices is helpful
- Supervisory experience is helpful
- Customer service experience
- Accounting experience for a hospitality business
- Possess a good command of the English language and ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests, both in person and by telephone
