We specialize in the field of auto lending, developing long-term relationships with franchise and independent dealers and generating quality receivables. Position Summary
This position will be using the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) general ledger accounting system as well as the Nortridge Loan System (NLS), which is a consumer loan servicing system. In addition, the position will be involved in the month-end close process and in providing support within the Accounting team. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer payments, other customer account adjustments, vendor maintenance, bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
The successful candidate is self-directed in work prioritization and demonstrates superior judgment-making ability within the scope of the position’s areas of responsibility. The associate will be able to solve problems and suggest solutions in accordance with their area of responsibility.
This position requires working a full-time schedule. Last day of the month is an extended day, and also works the weekend if the last day falls on the weekend.

This position reports to the Vice President of Finance. This individual will primarily interact with the Accounting team, Collections team, Dealer Administration team, Asset Recovery team, Funding team, external vendors, and banks for which CIG maintains a relationship.

Job Responsibilities
- Accurately inputs vendor, customer and dealer payments, returned checks, and adjustments to NLS/GP.
- Daily desktop deposit processing/coding to Wells Fargo.
- Processes Due Date Change requests and Deferment requests for customers.
- Fields payment-related questions / problems, and vendor inquiries.
- Performs GL account and bank reconciliations.
- Maintains vendor information.
- Assist other Accounting staff as needed.

- Ability to enter data accurately in a time efficient manner
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. (Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency)
- Ability to interact positively with others and be a team player.
- Must be a fast learner
- Complete understanding of A/R and A/P practices and policies.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to take direction and provide feedback.
- Great Plains experience a plus.
Education and/or Experience
- 4-year College Degree or relevant experience required.

- Web navigation and/or web-based software applications.
- Personal computer: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- 10-key calculator.
