Position Summary:

As Accounting and Treasury Manager of Nordex USA, Inc. will manage and coordinate activities required to ensure an accurate accounts payable system, manage professional level accounting functions, and the preparation of reports, including earnings, profits/losses, cash balances, and cost accounting. You will be in charge of regular accounting, including the preparation of financial statements for the US organization according to US-GAAP, as well as preparation of financial statements according to IFRS for Nordex AG.

Responsibilities:

• Consolidates financial statements on a quarterly basis according to consistent and group-wide applied accounting practices.
• Handles financing matters and controlling related to the business activities of Nordex USA, Inc.
• Operates the SAP system for accounting and reporting, as well as for payroll purposes
• Manages.
• Oversees the cash flow, revenue, and overall finances of an organization.
• Evaluates fiscal choices, monitors expenses.
• Evaluates the fiscal decisions of their organization and recommending the best possible course of action.
• Manages a large organization’s bank records and processes takes and oversees banking activities.
• Manages and oversees the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity.
• Monitors and analyzes accounting data and produces financial reports or statements.
• Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinates and completes annual audits.
• Meets financial accounting objectives.
• Establishes and maintains fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting/Finance required
• MBA strongly preferred
• PMP a plus
• 8-10 years of business finance experience, with emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent leadership skills
• High attention to detail
• High level of organization
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of cash management principles
• Knowledge of banking systems and processes
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $98,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
