We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our rapidly growing Finance team. This individual will oversee Gravie’s end-to-end Payables process and play a critical role in building a robust Payables function. They will partner with the Controller to set policies, implement the resulting controls, and train colleagues throughout the organization to ensure new procedures are adopted and followed. The ideal candidate will be energized by the chance to be part of building the function and be motivated to grow into a leadership position as the Finance team and business scale.

You will*:

  • Perform and oversee routine departmental activities to ensure they are completed accurately and on time
  • Partner with the Controller to create credit card and expense reimbursement policies and take the lead in training staff on those new policies
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees and vendors
  • Participate in establishing departmental policies such as the end of month accounts payable process for closing the books
  • Implement reporting procedures and internal controls for the purpose of maintaining accurate records
  • Research discrepancies of financial information and/or documentation (e.g., purchase orders, vendors, invoices, etc.) for ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures prior to processing.
  • Maintain various fiscal information, files, and records for providing an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance
  • Assist in creating a procure-to-pay process for Gravie
  • Complete ad hoc requests as needed

You bring:*

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 1 year of related experience or a minimum of 4 years related experience in Account Payables
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented skills
  • Energetic, positive and self-motivated attitude

  • Experience with NetSuite and Concur a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
