Summary
The account payable clerk is responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payables.
Essential Job Functions
- Entry level clerk position.
- Checking purchase invoices for accuracy.
- Vendor support with open purchase orders.
- Posting invoices to the General Ledger.
- Answer vendor inquiries.
- Maintain and process accounts payable reports and spreadsheets. • Vendor statement reconciliations.
- Month end verification reports.
- Performs answering phone lines, filing and copying.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relations with branches, vendors, coworkers and supervisors.
- Ability to multi-task and to work effectively in a very fast-paced environment.
- Able to work overtime if needed
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience, preferred, but not necessary.
- Knowledgeable in Excel applications, but not necessary

Supervisory Responsibility
