Pacific Coast Producers, one of the top food production companies in the U.S., has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at our Salem, OR facility. Our Salem facility produces maraschino cherries and other cherry products in various styles, colors and flavors and employs between 70-100 employees.

The Accounts Payable Clerk reports directly to the Cost Supervisor and performs the following duties:

• Review, receive and process invoices
• Audit invoices against purchase orders and research discrepancies
• Review and audit invoices for payment approval
• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Resolves A/P discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner
• Completes necessary analysis and answers A/P inquiries
• Assist with special projects as required

Requirements

• One year of accounting experience
• Three years of general office experience
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Data entry and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential material, work with integrity and exercise good judgement
• Excellent math skills
