SUMMARY:This position is responsible for entering invoices into the AP system to prepare company bills to be paid.
LOCATION:
This position is hybrid. The employee is split between remote and office work on a formalized schedule. Consideration for location will be at Bank Plaza, Wheeling, WV.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Open and prepare mail for processing.
Prepare and enter invoices in the accounts payable software and prepare for payment.
Properly process and code invoice with general ledger and department codes.
Confirm proper tax charges on invoice and add sales/use tax if necessary.
Prepare checks for mailing.
Obtain proper documentation for vendor payments including W-9s.
Index invoices in the storage system.
Answer questions from internal and external customers
Set up and update vendor information for new and existing vendors.
Other duties may be assigned.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
Knowledge of general office practices, procedures and equipment operation including PC, fax, copier, calculator, etc.
Sort, separate, arrange, file or distribute information in prescribed manner.
Possesses the ability to alphabetize and sort data for filing purposes.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Word and Excel
Accurate data entry skills.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
