Ivy Rehab Network is looking to hire a full-time Accounts Payable Coordinator to work in our White Plains, NY office.
As an Accounting Payable Coordinator, you work on a team of three to five AP coordinators to process payable for 400+ clinics. Our ideal candidate will experience processing invoices, general accounting knowledge and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
- Sort, review and verify invoices and check requests
- Set invoices up for payment
- Track expenses and process expense reports
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments and check runs
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files, correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports
- Assist with month-end closing
- Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
What you'll need:
- Associates Degree or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years accounts payable experience
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet
