The Position:

Under the direction of the AP/AR Manager, the AP Support Clerk will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our AP team. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a stable, employee culture focused company with room for professional growth and advancement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Imports emailed invoices to electronic A/P software system.
  • Performs invoice separation in electronic A/P software system.
  • Fills in vendor key word values, and routes to correct approver in A/P workflow.
  • Makes calls to vendors with invoice questions and requests invoice copies.
  • Identifies project information for payment and performance bonds and verifies bond costs are correct.
  • Routes company credit card statements for required approvals.
  • Enters equipment bills of sales into A/R
  • Secondary back up to the switchboard. Spends 1.5 hours weekly during summer hours, or 4 hours per week if primary back up is unavailable.
  • Supports A/P Specialists as required or assigned

The Candidate:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Associates degree in accounting, finance or a related field is desired
  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Trustworthy, with an acute attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office experience is desired
