Job description

Responsibilities:

· Prepare, verify, and process invoices for services rendered for weekly, bi-weekly and monthly customers with 100% accuracy

· Enter data on invoices; ensure proper coding on documents

· Collect on accounts by sending invoice reminders and communication with customers via phone, email, fax or mail

· Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

· Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjustments and credit memos

· Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line, coordinating contact with collections department of customer

· Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

Skills and Qualifications:

· Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable clerk

· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and collection regulations

· Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

· Data entry skills

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

· Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills

· Effective organizational, stress and time management skills

· Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

· Ability to work independently and as a team member

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• Successfully complete a background check and drug test

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Jacksonville, FL 32202: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Accounts receivable: 1 year (Required)
• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
