Overview:

American Paper & Twine, a division of Imperial has an Accounts Receivable Clerk position in Nashville, TN. THe Accounts Receivables Clerk duties will be collections, cash receipts posting, and credit card payment processing; however, will also assist with billing when needed. This individual will also review credit applications and accounts for new customers, building rapport with internal groups, all while maintaining strong attention to detail. The schedule for this position is on site Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm CST. This role is on-site in our Nashville location

Responsibilities:
You will:
  • Perform Credit card processing
  • Assist the collections team-email regarding shorts and skips
  • Update account info for all customers, such as invoices, statement, billing address, and contact information
  • Take customer calls and payments
  • Develop a strong rapport with sales teams, customer service, A/R staff and upper management
  • Recommend accounts to the A/R rep that should get a final demand or collections letter
  • Separate all tickets and invoices
  • Billing shipments
  • Charge freight on required shipments
  • Review exception reports and unbilled ‘pick ticket’ reports
  • Scan and maintain documents
  • Communicate with the sales team
Qualifications:
You have:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in Credit or Accounts Receivables
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and obtain an outgoing attitude
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Suites, especially Excel
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
